This 1972 Porsche 911T Targa is a unique
vehicle to find! It is a two owner car that has spent its entire life in the
Chicagoland area. The vehicle's second owner, an Airplane Mechanic, took
possession in February of 1977 and has lovingly cared for every element of the
vehicle's cosmetic and mechanical condition.
We have every receipt documenting the vehicle's service history, but the major
services and upgrades include:
• Complete engine rebuild at 60k with 'E' pistons & cylinders, 'E'
cams, fuel injection re-worked to 'E' specifications, Carrera chain
tensioners and stainless steel heat exchangers.
• The Body has been modified. The rear quarters have steel flares to hold 8” x
15” Fuchs wheels in the rear and 6” x 15” Fuchs in the front.
The car also has new high quality German square weave carpeting,
restored Targa top with a new rear top seal, complete tune up,
rebuilt shifter linkage, new right side axle shaft assembly, new clutch
cable and fresh Swepco 201 trans oil.
